Cabbage family (Cruciferae)

• Flowers: Bright yellow, small 7-9mm across (2/7-3/8in), borne on elongating terminal racemes (clusters).
• Leaves: Shiny deep green. Lower leaves lobed, with terminal lobe larger than others. Upper leaves simple, oval and clasping the stem.
• Habitat: Damp places, roadside and streamsides.
• Season: Blooms May-Aug.
