Olive family (Oleaceae)

• Leaflets (3-6 pairs plus one terminal) with no stalks, pointed and toothed, each up to 12cm (5in) long. Lower surface paler than upper side.
• Fruits wing-shaped, green at first, brown later and hanging in bunches.
• Twigs grey with black buds in winter/spring.
