• Stem with strong curved thorns, 15mm (2/5in) wide at the base.
• Leaves hairless, toothed with 5-7 leaflets 15-40mm (3/5-1.5in) long.
• Flowers with 5 white petals (June-July).
• Fruits egg-shaped (rose hip), green at first turning red in autumn.
