Spindle tree family (Celastraceae)

• Leaves finely toothed, ovate, with a pointed tip, up to 10cm (4in)long. Turn orange in winter.
• Flowers small, star-shaped with 4 petals, yellowish-green on long stalks.
• Fruits 4-lobed, bright pink on long stalks.
