• Leaves rough, sharply toothed, elliptical with long tapering point at the tip, up to 18cm (7in) long. Leaf base unequal with long side overlapping the leaf stalk.
• Fruits in oval papery wings up to 2cm (1in) long, borne in dense clusters.
